Scholarship Competition
Our annual Martin A. Walton Scholarship Competition will take place at the New School on Sunday, 12 June. Open to students who will have been enrolled at the school for at least 18 consecutive weeks by 2 July, the competition awards substantial scholarships and prizes in several different categories:
- Young Student of the Year
- Mature Student of the Year
- Most Promising Beginner
- New School Songwriting/Composition Prize
- New School Ensemble Prize
- Gibson Epiphone Guitar Prize
- Kurzweil Piano Prize

End-of-Year Concert
Our End-of-Year Concert, showcasing some of our best student instrumentalists, singers and ensembles, as well as the Scholarship Competition winners, will take place in the National Concert Hall's John Field Room on Wednesday, 29 June. It will be an entertaining and diverse evening of music, and we encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment!
