Flute Ensemble

Flute Ensemble'The teacher's enthusiasm and patience, and sensitivity to the varied standards of playing within the group, allows everyone to reach a satisfying standard of music making. A great opportunity to experience ensemble music making where the whole becomes greater than the parts!'
– J. Dillon

This ensemble - winner of the New School Ensemble Prize in 2010 - is open to flute students of Grade III standard and above and will work on a wide range of repertoire in a variety of styles. The emphasis is on having fun and learning classical and popular music together in an informal and non-competitive atmosphere. While the group will focus on ensemble skills and developing general musical/flute skills, it is also an opportunity to meet other flute players and make some great music!

Students concurrently enrolled for private or group lessons at the New School receive a 50% discount off the fee for this ensemble.
