The Lessons
For over fifteen years, the New School's unique Intensive Lessons for individuals and small groups have offered visitors to Ireland a unique Irish experience. Designed both for absolute beginners and more experienced students of traditional music, Intensive Lessons are available for a range of Irish traditional instruments (bodhrán and tin whistle lessons are particularly suitable for beginners and groups). Adults and young people from all over the world have taken our Intensive Lessons, which are conducted in an informal, friendly style.
Intensive 'courses' of lessons, taking place over a few days, as well as short courses combining instrumental and/or ensemble instruction with the history of Irish traditional music, are also available (please email us for a quote).
