Sinead Flynn - Discord (a play in one act)
Ireland’s leading playwright has died. Two weeks after his funeral on a tired Thursday evening, in a sleepy town twenty miles from Dublin, his two daughters Elizabeth and Jennifer come together to sort through his belongings and clear out his apartment. Childhood memories and conflicting realities render this afternoon tense and darkly comic. As the sisters confront their past, their afternoon of clearing and sorting becomes a shocking battle for the truth....

Brian Fleming - Gis a Shot of Your Bongos Mister
This one-man show was part of the Absolut Fringe Festival.
'Brian Fleming weaves together his experiences in Fatima and West Africa in this deeply personal and yet universal story of transformation.'
- Festival Director
Bala is a celebrity, the first African man in Dublin’s Fatima Mansions. Chico falls in love with the Buffalo woman from Kinnegad. They are unimpressed by our proud Irish history: “We fought the French with spears for centuries. You held up a bloody post office and the British gave you back your country!”
An aural biographical journey, from Dublin’s inner city flats to the mud walled shantytowns of West Africa. Experience the world through a drummer’s ear.
As live sounds are recycled through a loop pedal to generate the percussive soundtrack, patterns of regeneration emerge within cities, communities and individuals. Between the laughs, first world problems fall into perspective.

David Bremner - The Open Rehearsals
The Open Rehearsals are a group of professionally trained classical musicians/theatre artists who have come together to explore the possibilities of improvised music theatre. The music, which is improvised anew in each performance out of a pool of material provided beforehand, creates an environment which the actors feed off, creating largely wordless dramas of gesture and action. The improvised nature of our work lends to each piece an uncanny sense of focus and unpredictability. The combination of music and theatre in one entity is more reminiscent of traditional artforms from around the world than of Western theatre: what we do is pitched on the boundaries between abstract music, text art and theatre.
The group is David Bremner (keyboard, composer), Enda Collins (horn), Sandra Gonzalez (actor), Elizabeth Hilliard (soprano), Aidan McWatt (violin), Paul Nolan (actor), Andrea Scott (director).
