Association of Irish Composers

The representative body of composers in Ireland (including Northern Ireland). AIC represents the interests of composers in all areas of copyright, and seeks to enhance the professional status of its members through promotional activities.

Association of Irish Musical Societies (AIMS)

Provides a range of services and activities to Irish musical societies, including an adjudication and awards scheme, workshops, library and information, and a choral festival.

BBC - Parents' Music Room

An excellent resource for both parents and young people, including extensive information on choosing and learning an instrument, children's musical development and careers in music, as well as a wide range of useful links.

Ceolas

Houses the largest online collection of information on Irish and Celtic music, and has links to hundreds of related sites.

Irish-based website offering a range of CDs in classical, world and other music genres.

Contemporary Music Centre

Ireland's national archive and resource centre for new music.

Association of Irish Choirs / Cumann Náisiúnta na gCór

A national organisation that provides access to a variety of services for conductors, choristers, teachers, students, choral representatives and participants.

First Music Contact

A free and independent information and resource organisation for popular musicians and the popular music sector in Ireland. Co-runs the Hard Working Class Heroes Festival.

Improvised Music Company

Ireland's largest jazz and world music promoter; promotes the innovative 12 Points! festival.

IMSLP / Petrucci Music Library

A huge virtual library of free, downloadable sheet music in the public domain.

Insider’s Guide to Hidden Dublin

Ireland's premier station for classical, jazz, world and Irish traditional music, and supporter of our Waltons World Masters series.
