Waltons New School of Music's World Masters series welcomes Mavis Staples to Dublin and the National Concert Hall on Saturday, 3 November 2012. Ireland has its own great tradition of gospel and soul music, and one very special aspect of this concert is that the support act will be an Irish gospel or soul choir/ensemble selected by the second nationwide Waltons World Masters / RTÉ lyric fm Gospel & Soul Competition! The winning choir/ensemble will perform a 40-minute set before Mavis Staples and her group take to the stage.
