We are now enrolling for our 2022-2023 school year, which begins the week of 19 – 24 September. (Most of our First Term group courses begin the week of 3 – 8 October.)

Tuition Offered

Both in-school and online tuition are available this year. In-school tuition takes place in the New School itself, and we have extensive equipment and procedures in place to make the school as safe as possible during the the time of COVID. (See our COVID-19 Safety Policy page for more information on what we have done, as well as the protocols we expect all in-school students and visitors to follow.) We also continue to offer a wide range of online tuition options, Suitable for students living anywhere in Ireland or around the world. (See our Online Tuition page for more information about online tuition with the New School.)

As always, we offer nusic tuition for all ages and skill levels, and in the widest range of instruments and subjects of any music school in Ireland.

The development of a complete musician requires far more than simply learning to play an instrument or sing. Tuition in theory, musicianship and/or songwriting is recommended for students of all ages, whether they are studying classical, traditional, jazz, popular or world music instruments.

Introducing Music Technology is an inexpensive and practical course designed to teach beginners how a computer/laptop and free music production software can be used to produce professional-­quality recordings at home. And Ableton Live Basics is an essential introduction to one of the best DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) available.

Designed for children aged 3-4, 4-5 and 5-6, the New School’s Music for Me pre-instrumental (early years) music courses provide a unique introduction to music and music-making, all in a nurturing and creative environment.
