Paul Dunne O’Connor

Paul has been learning and playing drum kit since he was eight years old. He studied both drums and music theory at Kylemore College, where he completed all of his Trinity Guildhall drum kit grades, as well as his ABRSM music theory grades. Paul has been a very active performer on the live music scene in Ireland for many years, working in genres ranging from pop/rock to metal and jazz fusion to Latin. He has performed at the National Concert Hall and the Helix, among a number of other local and national venues, as well as in Electric Picnic, Love Sensation and other music festivals. Paul gigs regularly with several bands and is always excited to play and learn more. ‘I love teaching drums and helping others to explore their passion for music, in all its forms. Drumming has been my greatest interest throughout my life, and I am eager to share my knowledge of it with others.’
