About the School

Founded in 1994 and located in Dublin city centre, the New School is a comprehensive music centre, combining expert tuition for students of all ages and skill levels – and in the widest range of instruments and subjects of any school in Ireland – with innovative approaches to music education.

WELCOME TO OUR 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR

Welcome to the New SchoolOur 2025-2026 school year began on 15 September, and we welcome hundreds of new and returning students to the New School this year. If you are interested in enrolling yourself or your child for music lessons and haven’t yet done so, there are still some spaces available on our lesson timetables for late-enrolling students. Simply complete our Enrolment Form with your details and day/time preferences.

  • Tuition Catalogue includes all of the music tuition that we offer, both in-school (in person at the New School itself) and online, taught by our diverse faculty of sixty expert music educators. (For our external programmes, see the section below.)
  • Enrolment • Fees includes all of our enrolment and booking forms, as well as tuition fees for lessons and ensembles. (Tuition fees for group courses and workshops are listed on their individual web pages.)
