Annual Scholarship Competition on 27 May 2018

Taking place this year on Sunday, 27 May, the New School’s annual Scholarship Competition awards full-year tuition scholarships in three different categories:

• Young Student of the Year
  For students of all instruments (including voice), aged 18 and under on 23 June 2018 (the end of our Third Term).
• Mature Student of the Year
  For students of all instruments (including voice), aged 19 and over on 23 June.
• Most Promising Beginner
  For students of all instruments (including voice), and of all ages, who came to the New School as beginners on their chosen instrument during the 2017-2018 school year.

We will also award two prizes:

• Ensemble Prize
  For instrumental, vocal or mixed ensembles made up of two or more students.
• A Songwriting/Composition Prize
  Awarded for the most creative original composition or song for solo instrument or voice or small group/ensemble, performed by the composer/songwriter alone or with group.
