Aoibheann GalvinAoibheann is an award-winning harpist from Co. Dublin, performing on both the concert and Irish harp. She began her harp studies with Fiona Gryson before continuing with Clíona Doris at the TU Dublin Conservatoire, later graduating with a Bachelor of Music Education from Trinity College Dublin. Aoibheann has performed as a harp soloist in a range of venues including the National Concert Hall and Dublin Castle, and she performs regularly at weddings, corporate events and private functions. Her orchestral experience includes performing with the Esker Festival Orchestra, as well as with the TU Dublin Harp Ensemble at festivals such as the World Harp Congress and Cairde na Cruite. Alongside performing, Aoibheann has taught harp and piano both privately and in different musical schools. (She also teaches harp with the Irish Institute of Music and Song in Balbriggan.) In addition to instrumental teaching, she is a qualified secondary school music teacher, and she has taught music in both secondary schools and special needs schools.
