Last Year’s Students
We have sent enrolment information for the new school year to adult students and parents/guardians of younger students enrolled in the 2024-2025 school year. If you haven’t received this information and you would like to enrol yourself or your child this year, please contact the school office as soon as possible, either through our Contact Form or by phone on (01) 478 1884.
Tuition Offered
Both in-school and online tuition are available this year. In-school tuition takes place in the New School itself, and online tuition is suitable for students living anywhere in Ireland or around the world. (See our Online Tuition page for more information about online tuition with the New School.)

Under the expert guidance of our experienced teachers, our intermediate courses are designed both to complement regular music study and to focus on specific genres. And our new Introduction to Song Performance course allows participants to explore singing in different music genres, learn additional vocal techniques and develop their group singing skills, including harmonisation.

The development of a complete musician requires far more than simply learning to play an instrument or sing. Tuition in theory, musicianship and/or songwriting is recommended for students of all ages, whether they are studying classical, traditional, jazz, popular or world music instruments.

Introducing Music Technology is an inexpensive and practical in-school course designed to teach beginners how a laptop and free music production software can be used to produce professional-quality recordings at home.

Designed for children aged 3-4, 4-5 and 5-6, the New School’s Music for Me pre-instrumental (early years) music courses provide unique introductions to music and music-making, all in a nurturing and creative environment.

New School ensemble and choir members, under the direction of dedicated directors/teachers, enjoy the unique pleasures of group music-making through weekly practice session and regular performances of a varied repertoire. We aim not only to make some great music but to have a lot of fun in doing so! And our new Traditional & Folk Song Circle is an opportunity to connect with a great community of singers and to learn and explore the huge of range of great songs and ballads in the traditional and folk song repertoire.
