Great structure to this online course and easy to follow notes. Our teacher was excellent, and he gave everyone a chance to play, ask questions, etc. He went above and beyond in providing chords for songs we might like to learn, MP3 recordings for all classes and most of all, enthusiasm! Harry is just great. In a few tin whistle lessons (all online and taken from Dublin, Amsterdam, Rome and Poland!), he taught me the basics of the Irish tin whistle, with a little effort from my side. His key capability is being able to transfer knowledge in an enjoyable manner.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my two terms of the Sing & Swing Jazz Vocal Ensemble. I feel not only that I’m part of a group of kindred spirits but also that I’m individually encouraged and supported. Additionally, a wide repertoire of songs is covered, with both personal and group favourites considered. During the COVID-19 crisis, every technological step has been taken to ensure that the term progresses well online, and for this I am very grateful. I would highly recommend this ensemble all year round!
